Peter's diary on OCT. 30 2007

It is natural that Actors gradually be trained out a “super capability” to resist the hurt from nature.
Generally speaking, people take more clothes when the weather is cold and take less when the whether becomes hot. It sounds reasonable.
But sometimes we actors will reverse this law. It seems we all go mad.
Say , several years ago , I went to the snow mountains in Hokkaido to perform “the star in the snow” .
The temperature there had dropped to 3 C below zero .Luckily, I was in very very thick coat and very very thick neckcloth.
It sounds farely normal up to now, isn’t it?
But when we travelled back to Taiwan, we found some scenes on the snow mountain left out.
At this moment my little finger told me that. I came out into a cold sweat.
But soon we will in a hot sweat.
It is 34C summer in Taipei. We mad guys tried to appear cold on the high salt hill, wearing thick coats and neclcloths.
It’s hot far more than sauna. The deadly mistake is my very very thick coat and very very thick neckcloth.
The tourists didn’t know we were acting and thought us going out of our minds.

Lately I fought against nature once again..
The temperature is 7C below zero when a cold snap attacked Taiwan.
I was staying in the water from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.
I self-directed and acted this MV, so I cann’t accuse anyone.
Of course it is my request to play under water.
The leading lady is a model from Taiwan whose name is Yaxin.
Yaxin consoled me all night, she said:”director, I am fine, I don’t feel cold.”
Neither am I dumb nor deaf, her tone trembled so severe that I hardly hear what she said.
And her lips turned purple like color-art actors.
How pitiful she was!
I didn’t have the heart to make her so miserable, but….we had no option. She has already been aboard my ship, I could only steered for the goal.

By the way I give a summary of my MV “Only Care You”:
The hero wakes up from a nightmare. He is wearing a very sloppy wedding suits.
It looks as if there is someone lying beside him….but it’s just a wedding veil….
There are many empty wine bottles around his bed, he seems to lead a dark life.
He picks up a female watch. The watch has stopped. He rewinds the watch, pain in heart.
He hopes that the watch can run again and the life of it will last forever.
He walks out of the door with empty mind. There is an old record of Denlijun left in the room. The old record remains playing yet….

After a short time, the door opens again. It’s not the drunkard but the hostess.
The heroine’s mood is complex.
Firstly she felt a stream of warm, for this room once brought her so much beautiful memories.
But soon she fell in sorrow again. The happy days are only memories. Tt has gone now.
She constantly reminds herself not to forget the task of today. She must take away all the things belong to her.
There mustn’t leave any mark or trace of her. If she doesn’t do so, her beloved will never forget her and can never bear up from pain.

Seeing the watch near the wedding veil, she cann’t control emotion any more. She recalls playing with her beloved by the sea last year.
Suddenly Her lover jumps into the sea and disappeared.
She is so worried that she cries help all over the place. But it looks as if there is nobody but her left on the earth. No one can assist her.
So she decides to save her dear lover on herself.
She jumps into the sea and searches a long time, but finds nothing.
When she sinks into dispair, one hand grabs her hand and takes a Tag Heuer watch around her wrist.
Looking back in surprise, not realizing what happens, she sees her dear lover in the water saying::
“marry me.”
The watch is her wedding ring and the sea is their church.
She wakes up from the romantic memory. The attachment and the wedding veil will always be locked in a case by her.
Finishing the task, she leaves the house belonging to past only.
Nevertheless, the God is unwilling to take them apart.
Just at this moment, her beloved comes back. He brushes against her , doesn’t see her…..

thankss.. banlong!! u finally have helped me to END my curiosity...about this MV!! 
Wow, the storyline is so touching... I am sure that Peter will show his sad and moody look once again with those meaningful eyes of his. He's so excellent in this area, I think
But there's a little part that's rather bothered me is when the man takes a Tag Heuer watch and treats it as a wedding ring. Why is it a watch? For me, a ring whatever it looks like or made of is more sweeter and romantic.

Hahaha after reading once again, I feel okay with the watch now. ^ ^ though I know that Peter endorsed Tag Heuer watch.
The watch is related to the flashback and memories..... of the characters!!
These lines ..... show me the clues.

I don't think the watch can replace wedding ring either, but as a spokeman of Tag Heuer, Peter seems to fall in love with it. He is punctual, he loves Tag Heuer, so he treats it as wedding ring....God!

The MV's story sooo romantic...the concept about the watch (even it seem bit like a commercial) is sooo beautiful...
