How come Peter doesn't speak more English?

I find it interesting that despite the fact that Peter grew up in an English environment, he doesn't really speak it in his daily life. Well, I guess he doesn't have much company to use it with, but still...a lot of HK celebrities that grew up in foreign countries pretty much still retains it (whether it's through their blogs or through dramas, i.e. Edison Chen, Bernice Liu, etc). Peter doesn't really exhibit the same enthusiasm for English as he does for Chinese, which isn't a bad thing in his case (but totally bad in ours since our Chinese is limited). If he promotes himself more with English, do you guys think his international fan base would increase?

in the previous few years, Peter was worried about his limited Chinese . He can speak Chinese, but had a little difficulty in reading and writing(especially writing). I guess he had spent much effort on Chinese. So now he can read Chinese article well though his writing is difficult yet.

He often leaves messages in English on "ohohhoho". but his blog is written in Chinese. he said he has been accustomed to thinking with Chinese.

I think his international fan base could easily increase if he were to use more English in his blog and website. I was hoping he cud write more in English so that the non-Chinese educated fans like us could better understand him. However, I realised that Chinese has many expressive words which are really interesting. In a way, some things are better to express in Chinese than English. Unfortunately for us, we need a really good online translator to translate his writings...

I'm a bit confused: so from these posts he does speak both Chinese and English, he was bourn America but prefers Chinese over English? Can he speak Taiwanese?
