what I know about Peter

I have known this guy for a long time…..several years ago, when I saw the movie “The Truth About Jane and Sam” , Peter was still a shy boy without any performing skills. But he acted so earnestly I could feel his heart crying or laughing for the hero. In fact , at that time Peter was very inconfident even almost unwilling to continue acting in this movie…..luckyly, under the director’s encouragement, he overcame all the difficulties.

Later, I saw him in other movies such as “When I Fall in Love...With Both” and “Secret Pursuit”. In those days, Peter wasn’t so handsome and attractive. He was inturned and didn’t adapt to the environment of the enertainment circle.

“ the crounching tiger and hidden dragon” was a turning point of his career though he suffered a lot from that sery. From then on he stepped on the road to a famous star. He acted many knight- errants and got many wound in his body. From “ Jade Guanyin” , people knew he wasn’t only a idol but also a real actor. Though Maojie appeared few times in this sery, his violent motion impressed audience.

In real life, Peter is a kind- hearted man like Liangshanbo and a upright man like Bujingyun. He always smiles to his fans, signs his name or takes photos with them patiently. It’s due to his father’s strict demand . Everytime little Peter made mistakes, he must pulled his trousers off himself waiting for beating by his father. His mother and two sisters all cried for him. But Peter’s father wouldn’t “ give in “ .

Nowadays, Peter has succeeded in his career, no matter acting or singing. He has only a week’s vacation every year and has no time to date girls. Perhaps this is the cost of success .

I heard that Peter's father was so strict when he was a kid. Yessy once told me that she heard that Peter's father beat him 80 times.

I know more about Peter via watching his interview / tv show clips. (I'll post in the Peter's stories thread)

Looking at his clips (since I never meet him in person), I can say that Peter's so friendly and nice to his fans. I think I never see him in such a bad /moody mood when meeting his fans. When singing on the stage, besides waving and greeting his fans many many times and he tries to have interactions with his fans... talks to them, joked, etc. One more thing, he takes picture with fans, and even he himself takes picture of his fans.

I didn't post any comments on Peter because of my poor English.....but now I am a little confident than before....his fans said that he is a real man for his heart is broad and calm:)

Years back when he was preparing his debut, his vocal /singing teacher left him (gave up teaching him). But luckily, the 2nd teacher taught young Peter patiently, and he could have good improvement.

I heard that during his earlier career in China to film tv series, he couldn't read or write Chinese so well. But he learnt diligently and finally could be good enough.

He did not have any friends when studying in Canada. He preferred staying at his room, drawing 'man hua'.
